Aug 26 Our General Manager, Brian Sipe accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge from Cyndee Allender Pennington in Pensacola FL and Ben Rupp in Harrisburg PA! He nominates Congresswoman and US Senate Candidate Shelley Moore Capito for West Virginia, our State Senator and US-3 Candidate Evan Jenkins and our Mayor Steve Williams! Also, He told us staff members if we each donated $10 WE could dump the water on his head so the SMG-managed Big Sandy Superstore Arena is donating $100 to ALSA! The challenge is given…I hope my friends participate and donate!  #ALSicebucketchallenge

Aug 22 The Pilot Club of Huntington - 62nd Annual Antiques Show and Sale starts tonight and runs all weekend….. With more than 30 antique dealers on hand, you will not want to miss this special showcase 6:30 to 9 p.m. TONIGHT, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24. Aug 22 Welcome MU freshman!  More than 1,700 incoming Marshall University freshmen marched west on 4th Avenue from campus to the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center on Friday morning for the President’s Convocation. The students also will be treated to a kickoff party from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Pullman Square featuring live music, activities, football player autographs, cheerleaders, the dance team and Marco.
